The Maison De Joyeuse is a small house to the east of the tower. Totally independent, it has been fully rebuilt on the ruins of two small houses that belonged to the De Joyeuse family and of which only the foundations could be preserved.
With a completely independent entrance and looking out onto the road along the tower’s north rampart, the Maison De Joyeuse is made up of two floors + mezzanine and rooftop terrace. On the ground-floor is a living-room with a sofa-bed and in the extension is a kitchen-dining area.
Upstairs, there is a large bedroom with separate bathroom and toilet and a walk-in wardrobe, all hidden within the building’s architecture. The bedroom’s big bay windows offer breathtaking views of the tower, garden, swimming lane and surrounding natural environment, with a guarantee of spectacular sunsets.
On the top floor is a 20 m2 south-facing terrace looking out onto the village roofs and offering a view of almost 360°, hardly interrupted to the west by the top floors of the tower and further away to the south by the imposing Montaren castle
